Senior Legal Consultant (Legal / Financial Services Group)

Key responsibilities:

• prepare legal advice, memoranda, engage in M&A legal assignments, etc.
• under manager's supervision draft proposals and responses to clients' requests
• supervise and coach junior staff (share experience and provide clear instructions and timely feedback)
• participate in client meetings and conference calls
• report to a manager on the progress with client engagements
• handle multiple tasks at any one time

Knowledge and experience:

• minimum 3 years of experience at a (senior) legal consultant position (preferably in the leading international and/or local law firm or Big 4)
• good knowledge of Corporate, Civil, Investment, Anti-Trust, Labor law
• knowledge of Energy, Banking & Finance law, Tax litigation is a plus
• experience in M&A, SPA, SHA, loan agreements drafting; legal deal structuring, business presence set up in Ukraine and financing; corporate reorganization and restructuring work; profit repatriation and related currency control issues, etc.
• fluent spoken and written English

Qualifications:

• university (institute) degree in Law (completed studies)
• studies (e.g., LLM) in a recognized foreign university/college is a plus
