Our client is a leading retailer/wholesaler in his market. To strengthen our client's growth as well as its number one market position we are looking to recruit the CFO (m/f) for the Ukrainian operations, based in Kiev.

Job description

• Handle all monetary transactions in the Ukraine
• Manage the finance & accounting, the IT, HR, Payroll & Logistics teams
• Optimize organizational structure
• Optimize workflows/ business processes in the area of responsibility and at the interfaces to the control center and other areas of responsibility
• Optimize IT and software infrastructure, optimize and support the implementation of SAP
• Deal with external auditors and authorities
• Analyze profitability, cost management
• Prepare and conduct monthly and annual closing in Ukrainian GAAP as well as IFRS
• Ad hoc reporting to the management, especially about cost/revenue structure, cash flows, claim and liability structure, budget situation
• Coach, lead and develop team members
• Monitor payments and maintain transparency
• Minimize tax and regulatory risks
• Be responsible for all legal issues
• Establish structured warning system; reduction of overdue accounts receivable
• Inform about new tax audits to the headquarters

Who we are looking for

• Education: university diploma in Finance and Accounting
• preferably profound education as Chartered Accountant
• Minimum 5 years of experience on a managerial position
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Profound knowledge of SAP software
• Strong skills and knowledge of financial management
• Very good leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to set and implement clear priorities while maintaining corporate culture and hierarchy
• Knowledge of Ukrainian GAAP as well as IFRS
• Fluent in Russian/Ukrainian and English languages; German an advantage
