Tax Manager
Key responsibilities:
- Management of several tax projects simultaneously
- Scheduling of work and effective delegation
- Awareness of market opportunities and identification of potential clients
- Identifying client needs and selling work effectively
- Managing of the commercial aspects of a client portfolio
- Development and maintenance of strong professional relationships with client management
- Independent decision making
- Generation of new ideas and tax solutions
- Preparation and delivery of presentations for existing and potential clients, participation in other tax department marketing events
- Mentoring and development of staff
- Performance evaluation of staff providing clear direction and appropriate performance feedback
- Compliance with KPMG risk management procedures
Knowledge and experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of tax experience
- Fluent English
- In-depth knowledge of Ukrainian tax and accounting legislation
- Good communication skills, written and oral (English, Ukrainian and Russian)
- Ability to lead several projects simultaneously
- Proven skills in delegating work effectively
- Good business acumen to identify client needs, sell work effectively, and manage the commercial aspects of a client portfolio
Qualifications:
- University (Institute) degree
- Relevant Ukrainian or international qualification is a plus but not a requirement.
