Exciting growing company in KIEV has an immediate requirement for System Infrastructure Specialist to provide an interface between applications developers and product operations. This is a highly technical role requiring the ability to understand, digest, tune and troubleshoot a substantial multi-tier web system based on top of highly scalable cloud platform. It will also involve provision of 1st-3rd line technical support for a global product which will involve close work with the application development and test teams.

Applicants must have a strong degree with at least 3 years expertise in next software development fields:

• Solid understanding of .NET framework technologies

• Command of .NET programming languages (explicit experience in C#)

• Cloud platforms: public and private (e. g. VMware, MS Hyper-V, Amazon EC2, etc.)

• Database clusters: Relative and Non-relative (e. g. mySQL, CouchBase, etc.)

• Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, and disaster recovery

• Mastery of Linux

• Strong scripting skills

• Experience with web server configuration, monitoring, trending, network design, high availability (IIS 7)

• Experience with continuous integration systems and code revision principles knowledge  

Knowledge of Linux, networking (TCP/IP/Ethernet), socket programming and Java a huge advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with application developers in supporting new features and services

• Monitor site stability and performance

• Scale infrastructure to meet demand

• Troubleshoot site issues

• Develop custom tools as necessary

• Document system design and procedures

• Participate in light on-call rotation
